Last spring my dad forgot to set the brake on his and it rolled down the hill into a creek, thankfully nothing got ruined. The next week a bunch of guys in his league made a make-shift life jacket for it in case it happened again. I think he still has it in the garage.

An old guy at our place didn’t turn his electric trolley off and it sped away from him. He ran after it, fell and broke a bone in his neck. It’s dangerous out there.

I close my eyes. Only for a moment and the moment’s gone. All my dreams. Pass before my eyes with curiosity. Dust in the wind. All they are is dust in the wind

A buddy of mine (RIP) once inexplicably let his cart coast down from the tee box on #9 at Chambers Bay. It hung a right and immediately went straight down the hill. Stayed upright for the first 50 feet or so, then did a full yard sale all over the hillside.
The next week he wasn’t able to join us, but the marshals told us the story of how the week before some idiot had let his cart go off the hill on #9.

I feel like you could hit a seven 280 with that roll out!

The Story is that he COULD have saved the cart when it first began to roll, but he wasted too much time reaching for his phone

My home course is a hilly one in Quebec. I like to let Paul McCARTney have a run down the hill in the morning when the dew is still out.

That’s not a run away, that’s called a “fore-caddie” going down the fairway to tell you where to hit next, warn of trouble and to find your ball.

Mine pulls to the right, I’d be on the beach.
